Long Weekend in the Great Smoky Mountains
I spent my long labor weekend/holiday in the Great Smoky Mountains in Pigeon Forge Tennessee! This was my first time ever traveling to the Smoky Mountains but I had heard so many great things about the atmosphere and experiences other's have enjoyed there. I visited Nashville last month with my two best friends and had so much fun. Although, that really was my first trip to the state of Tennessee. Taking a trip to the Smoky Mountains is a must at least once in your life!
Labor Day in the Smoky Mountains
The views are unreal.
Oh, and the moonshine actually tastes okay/good, and I am good at drinking or liking the taste of alcohol at all.
For the obvious reasons, I was dying over this hot tub.
I mean, who doesn't love a hot tub high up in the mountains?!
Our cabin was absolutely gorgeous in Pigeon Forge. It was unique and nice how secluded you are from anyone other than the people you traveled to the Smoky Mountains with. We did leave the cabin throughout the day, mainly for moonshine and wine tasting lol :-) but this is definitely one of those places where you do not have to leave as much especially because the drive down that mountain is not the easiest drive.
The views here were unlike any other view I've seen before.
The sky would be bright blue and then have randoms burst of purples and pinks, it truly was the definition of cotton candy skies.
It was really nice to take a short trip with my dad and our close family friends, the kind you just consider family. It's so important to cherish the people in your life whether they are blood or not. Because quite frankly I'm sorry but the whole "blood is thicker than water" is not always accurate.
Thanks for reading everyone and keeping up to date with my blog. As always, I would love to hear from you in the comments or you can always message me!
XOXO, Dominique
